The central director of public banks and the financial market, Hassan Boudali, said his services are waiting for the necessary licenses to open Algerian bank branches abroad.
As such, the same official added to Ennahar TV, that the capital of the Popular Loan Bank Algeria (CPA) and the Local Development Bank (BDL) will be opened via the stock exchange.
The spokesman stated that a branch of the BEA Bank Algeria will open in France soon, followed by the opening of other bank branches in Africa.
A partnership agreement has, also, been concluded with the Bank of Madrid for the modernization of financial institutions and the development of the Algiers Stock Exchange.
