Lt. Gen. Said Changriha inspects number of units stationed at borders, provides instructions

Lt. Gen. Said Changriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, paid, today, Sunday, January 17th, 2021, a working and inspection visit to the third military region in Bechar.

According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, the visit began from the southern operational sector in Tindouf.

After the reception ceremony, Lt. Gen. Said Changriha, accompanied by Major General Mustafa Sma’ili, Commander of the Third Military Region, chaired an orientation meeting attended by executives and personnel of the operational sector.

Lt. Gen. Said Changriha delivered a speech, which was followed by the members of all units of different regions through the remote “videoconference” visual presentation technology.

Lieutenant General Chengriha emphasized that the high command of the Army attaches utmost importance to the issue of securing all our national borders.

Mr. Changriha stated: “We seek to continue to enhance People’s National Army capabilities in the battle , and secure the requirements for raising its readiness, while guaranteeing the upgrading of the operational and combat performance of all formations and components of the Army with a view to being able to meet all challenges.

In his speech, Chengriha, also, stated: “We were keen as an Army, embodying the insightful vision and sound directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to continue, with all loyal patriots, the journey of building a new Algeria.”

The Army’s Chief of Staff continued saying, “We hope that President Tebboune will return, safe and sound, to the homeland in the next few days.”

And to add: “We attach the utmost importance to securing all our national borders, according to an integrated strategy and a comprehensive approach.”

The Army’s Chief confirmed that this approach has been fully embodied on the ground, especially in light of the deteriorating conditions that characterize our region.
