Cowardly terrorist act in Tebessa: Libyan Foreign Ministry offers condolences

The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, today, Saturday, January 16th, 2021, the terrorist attack that killed 5 people after the explosion of a home-made anti-personnel bomb in the municipality of Thlidjane, Tebessa province, on Thursday, offering its condolences to Algeria for the martyrs of this cowardly terrorist act.

“The State of Libya extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the brotherly Republic of Algeria, its president, government and people, for the martyrs of the cowardly terrorist act following the explosion of a home-made anti-personnel bomb that killed five citizens in the Algerian province of Tebessa and wounded three others,” read a statement by the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on its official Facebook page.

As a reminder, on Thursday, five (5) civilians died and three (03) others were injured following the explosion of a home-made anti-personnel bomb, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense.
