Lieutenant General Said Changriha, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, emphasized that the challenges encountered require everyone to live up to the greatness of Algeria.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Changriha held a working meeting today, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense.
The meeting came within the framework of an assessment of what has been accomplished in the past year, and the challenges that await the People’s National Army, which must be addressed in the near and medium future.
This meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, commanders of the forces and heads of departments.
In addition to the General Comptroller of the Army, directors and heads of central departments of the Ministry of National Defense and the Staff of the People’s National Army.
On the same occasion, a guiding speech was delivered by Lieutenant General, during which he renewed his warm congratulations on the occasion of the two new years, the Gregorian calendar 2021 and that of the Berber one 2971.
In this vein, Lieutenant General affirmed his keenness, since assuming the duties of chief of staff of the People’s National Army, to define a clear roadmap.
The Chief of Staff of the Army emphasized, also, that the challenges encounter us require everyone to live up to the greatness of Algeria.
He added that he is absolutely certain that the People’s National Army, by virtue of its long experience, is able to live up to the level of confidence that our great people have placed in it.
“Yes, these challenges are great and dangerous at the same time, and they require all of us to live up to the greatness of Algeria,” Chengriha said.
As such, the Army Chief of Staff added: “Throughout history, our country’s destiny has been and still is, to face challenges and overcome them, no matter what sacrifices it costs.”
He affirmed that ” Surely, our army will emerge victorious thanks to the experiences and expertise it acquired in its bitter struggle with barbaric terrorism, in addition to the positive adaptation of the army to the scientific and technological developments of the era.
