ALGIERS- The national airline Air Algeria has scheduled a total of 24 repatriation flights for Algerian nationals stranded abroad and travelers wishing to reach Algeria for exceptional reasons, a company statement said on Thursday.
This repatriation flight program concerns seven (7) countries around the world and scheduled for the period from December 4 to 19, 2020, said the same source. For France, the national company announced the programming of six flights between Paris and Algiers scheduled on 04/06/08/10/14 and 16 December.
Another flight between Paris and Oran is scheduled for December 10, followed by a flight between Paris and Constantine on December 12, while flights between Marseille and Algiers are scheduled for 11/09/13/15 and December 17.
Departing from Spain, a flight is scheduled between Barcelona and Algiers on December 11, followed by another between Madrid and Algiers on December 13, and a flight between Alicante and Algiers on December 15.
Repatriation orders are also announced from the United Arab Emirates, between Dubai and Algiers, on December 14, 16 and 19, and from Egypt with a flight between Cairo and Algiers scheduled for December 17.
The national company has also scheduled flights from Jordan (Amman-Algiers scheduled for December 12) and from Saudi Arabia (Jeddah-Algiers scheduled for December 13 and 15).
The repatriation plan also concerns nationals stranded in Canada, with the scheduling of a flight between Montreal and Algiers on December 18.
The concerned citizens must hold an Air Algerie ticket confirmed on the repatriation flight and have a negative PCR test certificate rendered in no later than 72 hours before the date of the flight, the national company pointed out, while specifying that updates could be made as the situation evolves.
