ALGIERS- The short documentary “Objectif Hirak” directed by journalist Redha Menassel won, on Saturday, the Prize for the best editing at the “Buddha International Film Festival” held in the Indian city of Pune, said the film crew.
Released in 2019, this documentary takes us back to nearly a year of events through the eyes of five Algerian photographers.
The documentary portrays the most striking photos and the impressions of photographers Dihia Gaci, Sofiane Bakouri, Ahmed Ait Issad, Mohamed Bouzidi and Midou Baba Ali.
Since its release, this documentary has been participating in various international festivals such as the Festival of Lights of Africa (France), the International Panorama of Short Film (Tunisia), the International Festival of Digital Cinema (Benin), and the International week of the 1st film (Cameroon).
The Buddha International Film Festival aims to promote cinemas from around the world to encourage dialogue between cultures and exchanges between cinema professionals.
