Algeria – The Prosecutor at the Tipasa court of first instance issued today, Saturday (november 28), his indictment concerning two corruption cases involving ex-wali of the capital Algiers, abdelkader zoukh.

After several postponements, the trial of the ex-wali of Algiers, Abdelkader Zoukh was finally held, today on november 28, at the tipasa court of first instance. In fact, the prosecutor of the same instance requested a 15-year prison sentence and a fine of one million dinars against him alongside the seizure of all the detainee’s property.

The charges brought against the ex-wali in this case are : “granting deliberately unjustified and undue privileges and advantages to a third party during the conclusion of a contract for a market and illegal agreements, corruption in the attribution of public procurement and contracts, waste of public funds, abuse of office, conflict of interest, and offer of tax exemptions and reductions without legal justification ”.
