Torrential rains will batter different Western provinces, as of today, according to a special weather report (BMS) issued by the services of the National Office of Meteorology.
The concerned provinces, placed at the Orange vigilance level, are: Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Sidi Bel Abbes, Naâma and the North of Béchar.
Rainfall accumulation will oscillate between 20 and 40 mm, specified the same source.
Bulletin validity runs from this Thursday at 9:00 p.m. until Friday at 3:00 p.m.
Wind gusts and thunderstorms are also expected, added the bulletin.
