ALGIERS – The Moudjahid and former Speaker of the National People’s Assembly (APN), Said Bouhadja, died at dawn on Wednesday at the age of 82 at Mustapha Pasha hospital in Algeria following a long illness, learned the APS from the party of the deceased, the National Liberation Front (FLN).
The deceased held several membership positions in the party, including a governor in several provinces, like Skikda, his birthplace, and a member of the Political Bureau for several years.
He was also a representative of his party in the National People’s Assembly from 1997 to 2002, before he was elected Speaker of the same council in 2017. This term did not last long as it ended in October 2018.
The deceased will be buried this afternoon in the Alia cemetery in Algiers.
