Death of moudjahid and diplomat Abdelkader Hadjar: PM Djerad offers condolences


ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad, on Wednesday, offered his condolences to the family of mujahid and diplomat Abdelkader Hadjar, who died Tuesday at the age of 83.

“It is with great sadness that I have learned of the death of the mujahid and diplomat Abdelkader Hadjar, may God have mercy on him. In this painful circumstance, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family and assure them of my deep sympathy, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His holy mercy and comfort his loved ones. To God we belong and to Him we return, “Mr. Djerad wrote on his twitter account.

Born in 1937 in Tiaret, the deceased had held the post of Algerian Ambassador to several countries including Libya, Syria, Iran, Egypt and Tunisia.

Abdelkader Hadjar was, also for several years, a member of the Central Committee of the National Liberation Front (FLN) party.
