Algeria extended an unbeaten run to 19 matches with a 1-0 victory over Nigeria Friday in an international friendly between two of the top five ranked African countries.
In another high-profile warm-up match behind closed doors ahead of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying next month.
The Algerian football team successfully returned to competition by defeating its Nigerian counterpart with a score of 1-0 (half-time: 1-0), in a friendly match played on Friday at the Worthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt, Austria .
Thanks to this success, the Greens retain their unbeaten streak which now spans 19 unbeaten matches.
Belmadi’s men will play their second test matc, next Tuesday, at Cars-Jeans Stadion in The Hague, the Netherlands (8 p.m. Algerian time), against Mexico.
