Palestinian PM welcomes President Tebboune’s stance against normalization policy with Zionist entity


ALGIERS – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohamed Shtayyeh, on Tuesday, welcomed the position of Algeria and its President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, against the policy of normalization with the Zionist entity and its constant support for the Palestinian cause.

“We welcome the statements of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune who affirmed that his country will not endorse and participate in the rush for normalization,” said the Palestinian prime minister at the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Ramallah, stressing that Algeria “has always been alongside our people and our cause at the popular and official levels”.

“At a time when certain regimes are rushing to normalize with Israel which occupies our land, oppresses our people and controls our holy places, we see the constant position of Algeria which refuses to remain neutral in the face of the historical injustice suffered by the people Palestinian “, underlined the Palestinian official, maintaining that” the bonds which unite the Palestinian and Algerian peoples will remain solid forever “.

During an interview with national media officials on Sunday, the President of the Republic reaffirmed Algeria’s “constant” position vis-à-vis the Palestinian cause, calling it “sacred for us and for ‘whole Algerian people “.

Describing the Palestinian question as a “central cause in the Middle East”, President Tebboune said “there can be no solution in this region without the settlement of this question, which must pass through the proclamation of a Palestinian state. independent on the 1967 borders with El Quds as its capital “.
