ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune signed, on Tuesday, a presidential decree convening the electorate for the referendum on the revision of the Constitution scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2020, said the Presidency of the Republic in a communiqué.
“In application of article 149 of organic law 16-10 of 22 Dhou El Kaâda 1437, corresponding to August 25, 2016, relating to the electoral regime, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, signed, on Tuesday September 15, 2020 , the presidential decree convening the electorate for the referendum on the revision of the Constitution “.
The presidential decree fixes, by virtue of article 14 of the said organic law, “the date of the exceptional revision of the electoral lists, on September 20, for a period of 08 days”.
