ALGIERS- Moudjahid Hamana Boulaaras died at the age of 80, said, on Monday, the Ministry of Mojahedin and Rights Holders.
Born on March 14, 1940 in Zarouria (Souk Ahras), the deceased was an early moudjahid. He had joined the National Liberation Army in the 7th regiment of the 3rd battalion of the East base, where he participated with his brothers in arms in several operations and battles, in particular the great battle of Souk Ahras.
In 1958 he held the post of instructor at the School of Executives in El Keuf (Tunisia), then he was in charge of recruitment at the Firmat Moussa Center in 1960, before being Secretary General of the Eastern Borders Command until 1962.
After independence, he held several responsibilities including member of the National Secretariat of the National Liberation Front (FLN), President of APC Zarouria (Souk Ahras), member of the APW of Souk Ahras, member of the National Council of National mujahideen organization and president of the association of survivors of the great battle of Souk Ahras.
In this painful circumstance, the Minister of Mojahedin and Rights Holders, Tayeb Zitouni offered his condolences to the entire family and relatives of the deceased, wishing them compassion and solidarity.
