Blast at Beirut Port: Message of condolence and compassion from President Tebboune to his Lebanese counterpart

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolence and compassion to the Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, following the blast which hit the port of Beirut on Tuesday, a press release from the Presidency indicated.

“It is with deep sadness and sorrow that I learned the news of the explosions that occurred on Tuesday at the port of Beirut, causing several deaths and injuries and material damage.”

“In this painful circumstance, I express, on my behalf and on behalf Algerian people and Government, to you and through you to the brotherly Lebanese people and to the families of the victims our sincere condolences and all our compassion and solidarity “, wrote Mr Tebboune.

“May Allah, Almighty, grant the victims His Holy Mercy and welcome them in His vast paradise and fill their loved ones with comfort and patience”, added the President of the Republic who wished, also, “a speedy recovery to the wounded and protection to the brotherly Lebanese people “.
