ALGIERS-The examination of two draft executive decrees relating to the sector of the Interior and revival and development prospects of the labor sector’s activities as well as the progress of the implementation of the budget reform were on the agenda of a meeting Wednesday of the Government, said a communiqué of the Prime Minister’s Office.
During this meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad, the government heard a statement by the Minister of the Interior, Local Assemblies and Regional Planning relating to the presentation of two draft executive decrees fixing the number and the delimitation of the municipal delegations of the municipalities of Es Senia and Oued Tlélat (Oran province).
The purpose of these two draft executive decrees, which are taken in application of article 136 of the municipal code, is to fix the number of municipal delegations as well as the territorial space of the municipalities of Es Senia and Oued Tlélat. To this end, the commune of Oued Tlélat will have five (5) municipal delegations and that of Es Senia two (2) municipal delegations.
This administrative organization, planned for large municipalities characterized by a high demographic density and a particular geographical and urban configuration will be likely to allow better management of public service missions and local development requirements which are their responsibility, specified the press release from the Prime Minister’s office.
The government also heard, during this meeting, a presentation from the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security relating to the prospects for recovery and the development of activities in the sector with a view to their examination and validation by the Council of ministers.
The government also heard a communication from the Minister of Finance on the progress and implementation of the budget reform. The communication relates to the state of progress of the implementation of the new budgetary framework provided for by the organic law relating to the finance laws.
The Government recalled, for this purpose, that the organic law relating to finance laws, adopted and promulgated in September 2018, introduces new rules of budgetary governance and sets out the changes to be made in all the management segments relating to forecasting, the preparation and execution of the budget, the control and the rendering of accounts, as well as the implementation of the tools and instruments for their implementation.
