PM Djerad, Mauritanian counterpart agree to give “new impetus” to bilateral relations


ALGIERS – Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad and his Mauritanian counterpart, Smaïl Ould Beda Ould Cheikh Sidna, agreed, on Tuesday, on “ways and means” to “consolidate and give new impetus to bilateral relations”, said a press release from Prime Minister’s services.

During a phone talks, the two officials “reviewed the state of bilateral relations and agreed on ways and means to consolidate and give new impetus to trade, economic and social relations binding both countries; Algeria and Mauritania”, underlined the press release.

They, “also, mentioned the health situation linked to the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) as well as the prevention and control policies deployed in the two countries to stem the spread of this epidemic”.
