ALGIERS- Mr. Brahim Djamel Kessali was installed, on Tuesday, by the Minister of Finance, Abderrahmane Raouya, as Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, replacing Mr. Miloud Boutaba, who died in April, a ministry statement said.
During the installation ceremony, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of Mr. Bachir Messaitfa, Minister Delegate for Prospective as well as senior management of the Ministry, Mr. Raouya “made a vibrant tribute to Mr. Boutaba who held this position for more than 14 years, for all the work he has accomplished. ”
The minister, thus, invited the new Secretary General to “continue the work accomplished by the institution in matters of modernization”.
He, also, urged him to “complete the projects undertaken in this area and mobilize all available resources in order to establish the ministry as a tool for the development of the national economy”, according to the press release.
