Torrential rains will batter different parts of the country, as of today, according to a special weather report (BMS) issued by the services of the National Office of Meteorology.
The concerned provinces are:
South Tindouf, Bechar, Adrar, South Naama, El Bayadh and Laghouat.
Bulletin validity is from Saturday April 18, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday April 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. while the estimated rainfall accumulations will range between 25 and 35 mm with gusts of wind under thunderstorms.
Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Relizane, Mascara, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Tissemsilt and Tiaret.
Bulletin validity is in progress until Sunday April 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., while estimated rainfall accumulations: between 20 and 30 mm .
Chlef, Tipaza, Ain Defla, Médéa, Blida, Algeiers, Boumerdès, Tizi Ouzou and Bouira.
Bulletin validity is from Sunday April 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. to Monday April 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.. Rainfall accumulations are estimated between 30 and 50 mm.
Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Souk Ahras, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Sétif, Batna, Oum El Bouaghi, khenchela and Tébessa.
Bulletin validity: Monday 20 April 2020 from 03:00 to 21:00, while the estimated rainfall accumulations are between 20 and 40 mm, with gusts of wind under thunderstorms.
