ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a telephone call on Thursday from the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, who inquired about the efforts deployed by Algeria to counter the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, said a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.
The telephone call was an opportunity for the Emir of Qatar to present to President Tebboune his “best wishes as the month of Ramadan approaches and to the Algerian people more progress and well-being”.
For his part, the President of the Republic expressed his thanks to the Emir of Qatar, saying he was “touched” by this fraternal position which indicates the solidity of the links uniting the two peoples of the two countries, also expressing his best wishes as the month of Ramadan approaches, and to the brotherly Qatari people more progress and prosperity. ”
