Presidential Election: Candidates’ first statements while fulfilling electoral duty


Algeria – The five presidential candidates fulfilled their electoral duty this morning of Thursday, December 12 each in the voting center of his residence.

In this aspect, the candidate Azzedine Mihoubi voted at the school of 5-July of Staouéli (west of Algiers). In a statement to the press, he said: “The people will choose their president freely and in a democratic framework. This is the day of the application of Article 8 of the Constitution. ”

For his part the candidate Abdelaziz Belaid voted at the school “the Mokhtari brothers” in Hussein-Dey. He said: “The country will celebrate tomorrow the victory of democracy in Algeria.”

Candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune voted in Ahmed Aroua’s office in Bouchaoui. He said “The boycotters are free but must avoid violence”.

Candidate Ali Benflis casted his vote at the Mohamed Alik voting center in Hydra.

Bengrina has not casted his vote yet.
