ORAN- A new operetta entitled “Thaourat errijal” was successfully presented on Saturday at the Oran Municipal Conservatory “Ahmed Wahby”, on the occasion of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the outbreak of the revolution of November 1, 1954.
This show was performed in front of a large audience who came to encourage young comedians from the training school of the local cultural association “El-Amel” producing the work.
“Thaourat errijal” (the men’s revolution) has allowed the younger generation of artists to pay tribute to the great figures of the national liberation struggle.
The dimension of the sacrifice made by the glorious Chouhada was highlighted in this context through poetic declamations and other scenic representations.
According to the association’s president Mohamed Mihoubi, also author and director of the new production, “Thaourat errijal” intervenes in the wake of several successful creations like “Jaoula” (tour), produced with the support of the National Office of Copyright and Neighboring Rights (ONDA).
Another show consisting of a musical show called “Araba ouahikayat” (a carriage and tales) is being produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture, he announced.
