CONSTANTINE (Algeria)- Specialized commissions bringing together executives from the tourism sector of Algeria and Indonesia will soon be set up to define cooperation aspects in the field of tourism, investment and training, said Thursday Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Algeria, Safira Mashrusah.

Ms Safira Mashrusah explained that these committees will ensure the realization of partnership projects between the two countries on the ground as part of efforts to consolidate bilateral cooperation.

The diplomat also noted that the objective of this forum is “the promotion at the highest level of trade between Algeria and Indonesia in the various fields”, citing inter alia, the pharmaceutical sector, the mechanical industry, culture and agribusiness.

For his part, the chairman of the ITC-Rhumel, Larbi Souissi, stressed that the visit of the Indonesian diplomat to Constantine constitutes an opportunity to discuss the best “ways” for the improvement of the commercial exchanges and the promotion of the bilateral relations in several areas.

During her visit to Constantine, the Indonesian ambassador to Algeria attended, at the Islamic University of Sciences “Emir Abdelkader”, the opening of an exhibition dedicated to Indonesian President Ahmed Sukarno (1901-1970), first head of state of the Republic of Indonesia (1945-1967).
