Head of State Bensalah receives Angola President of Constitutional Court

ALGIERS – The head of state, Abdelkader Bensalah, received Monday in Algiers, the president of the Constitutional Court of Angola and current president of the Conference of African Constitutional Courts (CJCA), Manuel Miguel da Costa Aragao, who is on an official visit to Algeria, pointed out a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.

At the meeting held in the presence of the President of the Constitutional Council, Kamel Fenniche, the head of state expressed “great satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the two bodies in constitutional matters, which reflects the will of the authorities of the two countries to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in different areas, “said the same source, adding that the Head of State expressed his” determination to continue this cooperation and coordination”.

Mr Costa Aragao, for his part, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him and to the delegation accompanying him, stating that this visit had enabled him to “take note of the experience gained and progress made by Algeria in the constitutional field “, concluded the communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic.
