Algeria has been ranked 40th in the FIFA ranking for the month of July, 2019, said the Federation on its official website.
Noting that the Men of Belmadi, newly crowned African champions, were the biggest climbers in the latest Fifa rankings published on Thursday.
The Desert Foxes, who beat Senegal to lift the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt last week, moved up 28 places on July’s list to go to 40th in the world and fourth in Africa.
