Tunisian vessel “Kheir-Eddine A-700” calls at Algiers Port

ALGIERS-Tunisian Navy’s search and training vessel “Kheir-Eddine A-700” has called at the Algiers Port on Thursday as part of the enhancement of friendship ties between both countries’ armies, the National Defence Ministry announced in a communiqué.  

As part of the implementation of the Algerian-Tunisian bilateral military cooperation program, the research and training vessel “Kheir-Eddine A-700”, under the Tunisian Naval Forces, docked on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the port of Algiers,’ said the same source.

On this occasion, the Commander of the ship paid a courtesy call to the Commander of the Maritime Front Center, noted the statement, adding that “a rich program of cultural and sports activities has also been developed for the benefit of the Tunisian military delegation , in addition to the exchange of visits between the officers of both parties, on board the Tunisian ship and the Naval College “.

This stop, which is “part of the strengthening of friendly relations between the armies of the two countries, will contribute to further consolidate military cooperation and the exchange of experiences between our Naval Forces and the Tunisian Naval Forces”, concluded the same source.
