Algeria – The Sidi M’hamed (Algiers) court, today, decided on the arrest warrant and the provisional detention of the boss of the hyponym group, Ahmed Mazouz.
Ahmed Mazouz, CEO of the hyponym group, appeared, yesterday, before the Public Prosecutor at the court of Sidi M’hamed. He is being sued, alongside members of his family, on suspicion of corruption and benefit from undue advantages in the activities related to car assembly.
The Mazouz Group is active in several sectors, including automobile assembly. Three assembly plant owners (Hyundai, Sovac and Kia) have already been detained as part of benefit investigations.
