ALGIERS – The National Bureau of the National Democratic Rally (RND), meeting Tuesday in Algiers, decided to hold, on 6 July, a special session of the National Council to elect a new interim Secretary General (SG) to manage the party’s affairs until the organization of the congress, said a statement from this political party.
“Given the exceptional situation of the party, requiring the election of an acting SG to manage the party’s affairs until the congress, and in response to the request of more than two-thirds of the members of the NC , a special session will be held, on July 06, 2019 at the International Conference Center (CIC) in Algiers, “said the RND in its statement.
On this occasion, the National Office called on the RND militants to support their party and be vigilant, in order to preserve its unity and strengthen its ranks in this exceptional situation, reiterating “the support of the RND to the dialogue that was called upon by the command of the National People’s Army (ANP), “.
