ALGIERS- Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaïd Salah, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army said, Monday in Bechar, that the fight against corruption doesn’t allow “limitations” and “no exception will be made to anyone.”

“From the stance that the fight against corruption has no boundaries and no exception will be made to anyone, this is the path the military institution will resolutely strive to follow, laying thus the bases for cleansing Algeria from the scourge of corruption and the corrupts, before the holding of the coming presidential elections,” stressed Gaïd Salah who is on working and inspection visit to the 3rd Military Region in Béchar.

“In this regard, it is worth affirming, once again, the determination of the military institution to accompany justice, with a firm conviction and a high sense of responsibility, as well as to protect it so it can properly execute its missions and skillfully accomplish its moralizing role of unearthing and treating all the cases, whatever are the circumstances. The role also consists in bringing before justice all the corrupts whatever are their function or social ranks,” he said.
