Algeria – The former Governor of Algiers, Abdelkader Zoukh, as well as the current Governor of El Bayadh, Mohamed Khenfar, will appear, today, before Supreme Court’s investigating judge.
Abdelkader Zoukh and Mohamed Khenfar are accused of assigning land tenure to imprisoned businessman Ali Haddad.They had already been summoned by the courts following a preliminary investigation by the National Gendarmerie.
Bir Mourad Rais court will pronounce, today, its verdict on business tycoon Ali Haddad case relating to carrying two passports.
Earlier, the prosecutor requested that Haddad be sentenced to 18 months in prison for “forgery”.
