Algeria at “Green Cinema” Festival in Redeyef


TUNIS- About fifteen films from eleven countries, including Algeria, are scheduled for the 1st environmental Festival “Green Cinema,” to be held from 12 to 16 June in the Tunisian city Redeyef, said local press.

Long and short documentaries from Tunisia, France, Spain, Germany, Indonesia and Canada, dealing with ecological themes, such as; global warming and pollution, are on the agenda of this first edition which will open by the screening of two Tunisian documentaries on water scarcity.

Organized by the Tunisian Federation of Film Clubs (FTCC) and the House of Culture Youssef Ben Ahmed, the Environmental Festival “Green Cinema” is a place for dissemination of environmental culture and exchange on environmental issues, according to its promoters .
