TLEMCEN – “The calligraphy and manuscript nights will be held on May 9 and 18 in the province of Tlemcen on the occasion of Heritage Month celebration,” said the National Public Museum of Islamic Calligraphy, initiator of this event.

Heritage curator Nacer Nadjet said the first night will be marked by a lecture entitled “Pairing Arabic Calligraphy with Poetry” by the poet Noureddine Mabkhouti and an exhibition of manuscripts.

The second night of this event, which will coincide with World Museum Day and the closing of Heritage Month activities, will be marked by lectures by specialists in Arabic calligraphy on the use of calligraphy in writing the manuscript.
