International jazz day celebrated in Algiers


A group of Algerian musicians and singers performed, Tuesday evening in Algiers, a concert dedicated to the jazz in celebration of the international day of this musical style.

Organized by the National Office of Culture and Information (Onci) in partnership with the municipality of Sidi M’hammed, this concert brought together under one roof the quartet of pianist Reda Mourah, guitarist and composer Aminoss and the singers Hind Boukella and Lynda Blues at Sierra Maestra Hall reopened for this occasion after almost five years of closure.

The bands presented to the audience, in addition to jazz classics, compositions such as; “Cirta”, “Sign Of Life” or “Encounter”.
