This is indicated by a study published by the site “Business Insider”. According to the same source, “Algeria, Morocco and Libya are in sixth place, while Tunisia is the second most depressed African country.
Algeria has 1,683,914 cases of depressive disorders, Morocco 1,484,441 cases and Libya 265,883 cases. 4.5% of the population in Tunisia suffer from depressive disorders. Tunisia has 518,432, pointed out the study of “Business Insider”.
322 million suffer from depression in the world of which 29.19 million in Africa, a rate of 9% of people affected by this depressive illness, highlighted the same source.
