ALGIERS- President of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Community Abroad Committee Abdelhamid Si Affif and Bulgarian Ambassador to Algiers Roumen Petrov highlighted, Monday in Algiers, the imperative to pursuit cooperation between the two countries at all levels.
The president of the commission highlighted, during this meeting, the “solid” historical relations uniting at all times the two countries, before emphasizing “the importance of consolidating the existing economic and commercial relations with a view to raising them to the level of privileged political relations linking Algeria and Bulgaria “, pointed out the communiqué of People’s National Assembly.
After welcoming Bulgaria’s role in the European Union (EU), Mr Si Affif referred to the role of the parliamentary friendship groups in strengthening bilateral cooperation ties, announcing on this occasion, the upcoming installation of the parliamentary friendship group with Bulgaria.
For his part, the Bulgarian diplomat highlighted “the need for continued cooperation efforts at all levels” and to take advantage of the expertise and experience of both countries, thereby expressing “his full readiness to continue the ongoing cooperation with the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Community Abroad, “the same source added.
