The election of Mr. Othmani took place at “a meeting of the majority of the Executive Board of the Forum after a dialogue marked by objectivity, transparency and sense of responsibility”..
Mr. Othmani will have to prepare for the holding of an Elective General Assembly of the FCE, according to the statute of the forum and the laws in force, according to the same source.
At the end of the election, the members of the Forum’s Executive Council “affirmed their absolute support for the provisional President of the FCE and their commitment to preserve the forum as a space for economic operators and a force for the construction of a strong and sustainable national economy “.
They assured that the Forum “will remain an active employers’ association with its proposals far from all the political tuggings”.
Note that the FCE is an economic association created in October 2000, bringing together 4,000 business leaders representing more than 7,000 companies with a combined turnover of more than 4,000 billion dinars, according to figures provided by this organization .
