Arab leaders discuss, in Tunis, Arab causes, notably Palestinian one


TUNIS – Speaker of the Council of the Nation, Abdelkader Bensalah, met, in Tunis on Sunday, with the Emir of Kuwait, Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the two countries’ participation in the work of the 30th session of the Arab Summit.

Taking part in this summit in his capacity of representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Mr. Bensalah had met with the Servant of the two Holy Places of Islam, King Salman Ben Abdelaziz Al Saud, the ruler of Jordan , King Abdullah II, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. They discussed bilateral relations and Arab issues, notably the Palestinian cause.
