ALGER – The Mujahid Ben Amar Benaissa died in Tlemcen at the age of 78, the Ministry of the Mojahedin said on Wednesday.
Born on December 21, 1941 in Ouled Riah in Tlemcen, the deceased who dedicated his life for the militancy joined the ranks of the National Liberation Army in 1957, participating with his comrades at several battles and military operations, including Djbel Asfour (Tlemcen) where he lost an arm and both legs, and then he was imprisoned during the month of February 1961.
Faithful to the sacrifices of the Shuhada and the national memory, the deceased pursued, in the aftermath of independence, his career as an activist in the national association of the great invalids of the war of liberation.
In this painful circumstance, the Mujahideen Minister Tayeb Zitouni sent a letter of condolence to the family of the deceased and his companions, highlighting his journey and his loyalty to the nation and the country.
