In this aspect, visitors enjoyed a fantastic days, sampling foods and products of the participating countries, namely; Indonesia, Palestine, Sudan, Tunisia, Vietnam etc..

Different products were showcased. Handcrafts were at the lead as a batch of home-made items, including pottery, home décor and toys were displayed. Other products; clothes, textiles, jewellery, hand-made serviettes and tablecloths were also waiting for visitors.

This is not the first participation of the Indonesian Embassy in such events as it frequently organizes cultural shows with a view to further deepen bilateral cooperation with Algeria. Recently, the governor of the Indonesian province of West Java, Ridwane Kamil, announced, during his visit to the province of Setif that a commemorative stele dedicated to the first Indonesian President Ahmed Soekarno will be “soon” erected in Algiers, to strengthen the historical ties existing between Algeria and Indonesia and dating back to the Bandung Conference (first nucleus of the Non-Aligned Movement) and which the National Liberation Front had attended in 1955 as an observer “.

The governor of the province of West Java has announced that the realization of the stele of Soekarno in Algiers and the opening of a café in the city of Setif, offering a 100% Indonesian coffee, considered one of the best products of West Java, are a “first step, in the short term, in the field of investment, which will be followed by other initiatives”, inviting Algerian investors to visit the industrial zone of West Java, where it is possible to invest “very fast”.
