“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to draw attention to the fact that the information attributed to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ramtane Lamamra, communicated through a fake Twitter account on his behalf, is false, devoid of all foundation and is a pure manipulation “, according to a statement of the spokesman of the MAE, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.
“Mr. Lamamra’s last tweet published on his account goes back to March 1, on the occasion of his meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Antonio Guterres, with whom he discussed the prospects of strengthening the African Union-United Nations strategic partnership.
The MFA spokesman said that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs “has never communicated through social networks (Facebook, Twitter or others) under his new government responsibilities.”
