Algeria – The very discreet Director of Communication of the Presidency of the Republic, Farida Bessa, resigned yesterday, Monday, March 18, said a reliable source.


Appointed in February 2008, replacing Toufik Khelladi, current CEO of EPTV, Farida Bessa resigned, Monday, after more than eleven years at the head of the communication of the Presidency of the Republic.

Her resignation comes in a political context marked by unprecedented anti-power demonstrations. The people demand, via impressive popular marches, the departure of the power and the system.
