Algeria – The Inter-Union of Education, Health and Higher Education Unions have finally declined the call of the Prime Minister, Noureddine Bedoui to attend a meeting at the Government Palace, say media sources.

In the light of the guidelines of the outgoing President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Noureddine Bedoui and Ramtane Lamamra began yesterday, Sunday, consultations for the formation of the new government of technocrats.

The unions reject Bedoui’s invitation! They refused to take “decisions on behalf of the people”, reiterating their “support” for the popular movement and their respect for the “will” of the people. They also consider this invitation an attempt to “circumvent the demands of the Algerian people,” noted the Inter Union in a statement.

“We unanimously decline this initiative,” wrote the unions: SAP, Snapsy, Snechu, Snpssp and Snmgsp, in a statement.
