Algerian parliament partakes in Pan-African Standing Committee in Johannesburg


ALGIERS- A delegation of the Algerian Parliament will partake in the Pan-African Standing Committee (March 4-9) in Johannesburg, said Sunday the Parliament’s Upper House in a communiqué.

Participants in these meetings will discuss the theme: “Refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons in Africa: for sustainable solutions to forced displacement”.

In addition, they will discuss a number of other issues including “Debt Management and the Fight Against Corruption in Africa”, “The 2019 Action Program” and “The 2019-2023 Strategic Plan”.

At these meetings, Algeria will be represented by the member of the Council of the Nation and member of the Pan-African Parliament, Abdelkader Moulkhaloua.
