43 Anniv of SADR’s Proclamation: President Bouteflika congratulates his Sahrawi counterpart

Algiers, Feb 28, 2019 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, received a congratulatory message from the President of Algeria, Abdelaziz Buteflika, on the occasion of the 43 Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Saharawi Republic.

 

The Algerian Head of State expressed to President Brahim Gali and the Saharawi people his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes for the new anniversary of the SADR.

President Buteflika saluted the sacrifices and the resistance of the Saharawi people and praised the achievements of these years under the wise leadership of the Frente POLISARIO, the only and legitimate representative of the Saharawi people.

The Algerian leader reiterated the firm support of his country for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.

In this regard, he expressed his hope “that the talks between the parties to the conflict initiated by the Personal Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations will succeed. Algeria, as a neighboring country and observer of the peace process, will continue to encourage the two sister parties to continue the serious and constructive dialogue to reach a just and definitive solution that will lead to self-determination, in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions. .
