Special Weather Forecast Bulletin: Snow, torrential rain to hit several provinces

Kara Murphy has lived in Millcreek Township, Pennsylvania, for 15 years and says she's never seen snow like this. Murphy took this photo at about 7:30 on Tuesday morning. She says they cleared the snow off of her in-laws' car last night, and it is covered in snow again. "My husband's guessing we??ve got 3 feet but it??s drifting in spots higher than that," she said. "We had a plow come down our street overnight but it??s impassable again," she said.

Snowfall and torrential rain will hit several Eastern provinces as of tomorrow Tuesday, said Monday, February 25, a BMS issued by the National Meteorological Office.


The snowfall is expected from Tuesday on the Eastern reliefs exceeding 900 meters, added the same BMS.
The concerned provinces are: Souk-Ahras, Guelma, Tebessa, Khenchela, Oum El-Bouaghi, Batna, Mila, Constantine, Setif, Batna, Bejaia, Skikda, Annaba and El-Tarf.

With respect to the torrential rains, they will hit the following provinces: Ouargla, El-Oued, Biskra, Illizi and Ghardaia.
Estimated rainfall  will vary between 10 and 20 mm, concluded the statement.
