A memorandum of understanding, to continue the development of the bilateral economic relations was inked, on Thursday, at the 22nd Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Commercial, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation with Algeria with the presence of the Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca.
Malmierca also published a meeting with Algerian Health Minister Moktar Hasbellaoui, prior to the closure of the commission.
We agree that the progress are an impulse to continue working to develop cooperation in energy, health and other sectors, the official wrote in another message.
As part of his stay in Algeria, Malmierca also visited the Pasteur Institute of Algiers, a center specialized in research to prevent and treat infectious diseases.
The Cuban delegation arrived in Algiers earlier this week from Qatar, where the Cuban Minister met with authorities and reviewed cooperation between Havana and Doha.
