Algeria – A cargo of 860,000 eggs has been exported to Libya by Livestock and Egg Production Company ‘Allawoui Mohamed Fateh’ in R’mila Commune (Khenchela Province).
This is indicated by the director of agricultural services (DSA), Rachid Rehamnia who said that the operation was carried out Sunday via the border post of Bouchebka (Tebessa) as part of the public strategy to encourage non-hydrocarbons export.
Other shipments of eggs will be exported “in the coming days,” he pointed out, in line with the agreement with Libya to ship 4 million units.
According to the same source, the collapse of the price of eggs has led producers to seek new markets through export.
