Algeria-Sweden parliamentary friendship group set up

ALGIERS- Algeria-Sweden parliamentary friendship group was set up Thursday, at the headquarters of the People’s National Assembly, under the supervision of the head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Community Abroad  Abdelhamid Si Afif, in the presence of Swedish ambassador to Algiers Marie Claire Sward Capra and of a representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said a communiqué of the Parliament’s.

 

Sweden parliamentary friendship group was set up Thursday, at the headquarters of the People’s National Assembly, under the supervision of the head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Community Abroad  Abdelhamid Si Afif, in the presence of Swedish ambassador to Algiers Marie Claire Sward Capra and of a representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During this meeting, the two sides discussed “the bilateral relations and the imperative to further boost them to meet the aspirations of the two peoples and the ambitions of the two governments.

After reviewing the state of these relations, Mr. Si Affif highlighted “the contribution of Algeria to the achievement of stability among its neighbors through peaceful means, dialogue and consultation”.
