Algiers- Abdelkader Kara Bouhadba was installed, Thursday, in his new position as Director General of National Security (DGSN) by the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning, Noureddine Bedoui.
Bouhadba, who replaces Colonel Mustapha Al-Habiri, held several positions within the DGSN, including that of Director of the Judicial Police from October 2012 to August 2015.
A graduate in Law and Legal Sciences, Mr. Bouhadba joined the ranks of National Security in 1982 as Commissioner, before being appointed to several high positions.
In recognition of his efforts in the security field, Mr. Bouhadba has received several awards, including the Spanish Police Award of Merit, which he received in 2000.
