The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for Africa, Matshidiso Moeti, will pay a three-day official visit to Algeria on Wednesday, said the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.
“The WHO Regional Director for Africa will pay, on Wednesday, a three-day visit to Algeria, from 13 to 16 February 2019,” the Ministry said in a statement.
During this visit, the first of its kind, the WHO Regional Director for Africa will meet with several personalities, with a view to “strengthening cooperation between WHO and Algeria, “the source said.
She will visit, during her stay in Algeria, at the invitation of the Minister of Health, Mokhtar Hasbellaoui, several health institutions:
The Pasteur Institute of Algeria, the National Center for Toxicology and the National Pharmaceutical Control Laboratory.
